KIIT Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Project Technical Assistant Vacancies, Check Eligibility at kiit.ac.in
The School of Mechanical Engineering at KIIT Deemed to be University in Bhubaneswar, India, is seeking applications for the position of Project Technical Assistant (PTA) for a project titled "An extensive investigation of microstructure evolution during heat treatments & hot forging of high strength B-Ti 5553 alloy," sanctioned by the Aeronautics R&D Board (ARDB), Ministry of Defence, Government of India.
The position is contractual for three years, with one year already elapsed. The essential qualification is a B.Tech/M.Tech in Mechanical/Metallurgy/Materials Science Engineering, with desirable criteria including hands-on experience in FESEM/EBSD/Gleeble/FE based software and understanding in Microstructure/Thermo Mechanical behaviour of materials.
The fellowship offered is Rs. 22,000/- per month + HRA (Rs. 2000/-) for candidates with a B.Tech degree and Rs. 24,000/- per month + HRA (Rs. 2000/-) for those with an M.Tech degree. The selected candidate is eligible for pursuing MTech/Ph.D. program as per KIIT-DU rules, with preference given to candidates with valid GATE scores.
