The High Court of Kerala has announced recruitment for 32 Research Assistant positions (Recruitment Number: 07/2024) with a monthly honorarium of ₹30,000. The appointment tenure is initially for one year, extendable to a second year based on performance and government sanction. Candidates must have a Graduation in Law, with final year/semester law students eligible to apply pending submission of all mark sheets within 45 days of application closure.
Selection will be through a Viva Voce examination. Applicants must register online through the recruitment portal and ensure accuracy in their application details as no changes are permitted once submitted. Non-compliant applications will be rejected, and original documents must be furnished as required.
Call letters for the Viva Voce will be available for download from the recruitment portal, and candidates are advised to check for updates regularly. A maximum of 160 candidates with the highest LL.B. marks will be called for the Viva Voce, with tie-breaker criteria specified. Compliance with guidelines and accurate information provision is crucial, as any discrepancies may lead to cancellation of candidature or termination of service even after appointment.

Qualifications Details for Kerala High Court Recruitment 2024
Graduation in Law. Final year/semester law students are also eligible to apply. But their Applications will be considered only on production of the all mark lists and percentage certificate/consolidated mark sheet within 45 days from the date of closure of filing of online application.
Age Limit for Kerala High Court Recruitment 2024
Candidates born between 30.05.1996 and 29.05.2002 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for this post. (But the name of a candidate who attains 28 years of age shall be deleted from the ranked list as and when he/she attains that age)
Pay Scale for Kerala High Court Recruitment 2024
The Kerala High Court is seeking to fill 32 vacancies for the position of Research Assistant, offering a salary of Rs. 30,000 per month. Additionally, any vacancies arising during the validity period of the ranked list will also be filled from the same list. This ranked list remains valid for a minimum of one year from its inception and continues until the publication of a new list or up to two years, whichever comes earlier.
Selection Process for Kerala High Court Recruitment 2024
- Selection will be on the basis of the Viva Voce examination.
- The list of candidates short listed for viva-voce will be published in the recruitment portal.
- Eligible candidates should download the Call Letters from their profile in the Recruitment Portal.
- The Call Letters will be ready for download two weeks prior to the date of the viva-voce and the matter will be informed through SMS/e-mail.
