The School of Physical Science at Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi, invites applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a SERB project. The fellowship offers a monthly stipend of Rs. 31,000 plus applicable HRA. Applicants must hold an M.Sc in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Biotechnology with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university/institute, along with CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE qualification.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience in biophysical techniques and computational methods such as Docking/MD simulation. The appointment is purely temporary for initially one year, extendable based on performance or project duration.

Qualifications Details for JNU Recruitment 2024
- The applicant must have M.Sc (Chemistry/Biochemistry/Biotechnology) with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with CSIR/UGC-NET or GATE qualification (attach a copy of the scorecard).
- Candidates having exposure to handling biophysical techniques as well as computational methods including Docking/MD simulation are encouraged to apply.

Pay Scale for JNU Recruitment 2024
Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) is offering a position for a Junior Research Fellow, with one vacancy available. The selected candidate will receive a monthly fellowship/salary of Rs. 31,000, along with applicable House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Selection Process for JNU Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will be appointed on purely temporary basis, initially for a period of one year and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance or till his/her services are required by the project Director or till Validity of the project, whichever is earliest.
