Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has announced a recruitment notification for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position with a salary of Rs. 31,000 per month plus HRA. Candidates must be under 28 years old, hold a Master's degree in Plant Sciences, Biotechnology, Life Sciences, Biochemistry, or Bioinformatics with at least 60% marks, and have a CSIR-UGC NET or equivalent qualification.

Qualifications For JNU Recruitment 2024
- Candidate must have Masters degree (with minimum 60% marks or higher) in Plant Sciences/Biotechnology/Life Sciences/Biochemistry/ bioinformatics with CSIR-UGC NET (Equivalent qualification/fellowship) or fulfilling the guidelines of DBT/DST.
- Strong theoretical background on plant genetic engineering and research experience in the field of basic plant molecular biology & plant tissue culture is desirable. Consistently good academic record would be a plus.
Age limit For JNU Recruitment 2024
- 28 years on the date of application, with relaxation to SC/ST/OBC candidates as per Government of India norms.
