Qualifications Details for JIPMER Recruitment 2024
- An NMC/MCI-recognized postgraduate medical degree of MD/MS/DNB in the respective discipline from a recognized University/Institute.
- A DCI recognized postgraduate dental degree from University/Institute are required, viz.
- MDS (Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics) 1 Post under UR category.
- MDS (Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery) 1 Post under UR category

Pay Scale for JIPMER Recruitment 2024
- Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) offers an attractive salary package for the position of Senior Resident. The basic pay is Rs.67,700/- as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC), corresponding to Level 11, Cell 1 of the pay matrix.
- Additionally, candidates are entitled to Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) and other customary allowances applicable at Puducherry/Karaikal. In the first year, the total approximate monthly remuneration amounts to Rs.1,20,000/-. Selection Process for JIPMER Recruitment 2024
- The Computer Based Test will be held on 07-07-2024 (Sunday) from 09.00AM to 10.00AM.
- The duration of the Computer Bases Test shall be 1 hour (60 minutes).
- Question Paper consists of 40 (Forty) Objective Type (Single Best ResponseType) questions from the concerned specialty and total marks will be 80.
- The Computer Based Test (CBT) shall be conducted in english medium only.
- Each answer with Correct Response shall be awarded Two Marks.
- No Marks will be deducted for each Incorrect Response.
- There will be No negative mark.
