JIPMER Recruitment 2024 Qualifications

• Assistant Professor of Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery: A medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act).
• M.Ch in Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgery or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor of Forensic Medicine & Toxicology: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Forensic Medicine and Toxicology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor of Microbiology: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Microbiology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor of Nephrology: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• D.M. in Nephrology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor of Obstetrics & Gynaecology: A medical qualification included in the first or second schedule or Part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section 13 (3) of the Act).
• A postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D./M.S. in Obstetrics & Gynaecology or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.
• Assistant Professor of Urology: A medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act).
• M.Ch in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

JIPMER Recruitment 2024 Age limit

• Not exceeding 50 years as on the date of interview.
• Upper age limit relaxable by five (5) years in case of posts reserved for SC/ST candidates, three (3) years in case of posts reserved for OBC candidates. However, No age relaxation would be available to SC/ST/OBC candidates applying for unreserved vacancies

Selection Process for JIPMER Recruitment 2024

• It may be noted that determination of eligibility for appearing the interview is purely provisional. If at any subsequent stage during verification of certificates/documents or the selection process, it is found that a candidate has provided wrong information or otherwise does not possess the required essential qualifications or experience as per the Recruitment Rules of the post(s), he/she will be treated/declared as ineligible, and his/her candidature will be treated as cancelled. The decision of the competent authority in this regard will be final.
• Applicants merely attend the verification of document on the day of interview does not possess any rights for selection.

Walk-in Process for JIPMER Recruitment 2024

• The last date for payment of application fee through SBI Collect is 15.02.2024 till 4.30 PM. The application fee once remitted will not be refunded.
• Date of interview: 16.02.2024 (Friday) and 17.02.2024 (Saturday)
