The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) is inviting applications for the post of Director in Noida. There is one vacancy, and the last date to apply is October 6, 2024. Eligibility Criteria Details for IWAI Recruitment 2024
- Officers in the Central / State Government/ Statutory or Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings :- holding analogous post OR 10 Years’ experience in a supervisory capacity out of which at least 5 years in the next below level in – Investigation, planning, designs and marine structures/river engineering works including repair and maintenance OR
- In various branches of Mechanical/ Marine Engineering works including experience in repair and maintenance of harbour crafts. OR In Design, planning and construction of vessels in shipyards or Marine organization dealing with inland vessels including experience in designs of navigational aids etc.
- Desirable : Experience in works connected with inland waterways in dredging, river conservancy works, river training, marking of fairway rules and regulations for safety of shipping and navigation. (The period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years)
Pay Scale for IWAI Recruitment 2024
- 5 years regular service in Level 11 in the pay matrix (Pre-revised PB-3, Rs. 15600-39100 + GP Rs. 6600) and Degree in Civil/Mechanical/Marine Engineering/Naval Architecture from a recognized University/ Institute.
