The Inland Waterways Authority of India (IWAI) is seeking applications from Indian Nationals currently employed in Central/State Government offices, Public Sector Undertakings, or Statutory/Autonomous bodies to fill the vacant position of Senior Accounts Officer (SAO) on a deputation basis for a period of three years.
The position offers a consolidated pay within Level 10 of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th Central Pay Commission. Eligible candidates must hold analogous posts on a regular basis, possess a degree from a recognized university, and have a professional qualification such as passing the final exams of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or the Institutes of Cost and Works Accountants.
Additionally, applicants should have at least three years of supervisory experience in commercial accounts within the finance or accounts department of the Central/State Government or a reputable commercial organization. A degree or diploma in Business Management is desirable. The period of deputation will not exceed three years. Eligibility Criteria for IWAI Recruitment 2024
Officers under Central/State Govts./ Statutory or Autonomous bodies/ Public Sector Undertakings:
- Holding analogous posts on regular basis.
- Degree from a recognized University with professional qualification of passing final Exam of Institute of Charted Accountants of India, or passing final examination of the Institutes of costs and works Accountants or the SAS Commercial examination of the Indian Audit and Accounts Department.
- 3 years’ experience in a supervisory capacity in commercial accounts in the Finance or Accounts Deptt. Of the Central/State Govt. or Semi-Govt. organization or a commercial organization of repute.
- Degree/Diploma in Business Management (The period of deputation shall not ordinarily exceed 3 years)
