The Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) is recruiting for 202 Constable posts. Applicants must have completed Matriculation or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board, along with a one-year certificate course from a recognized Industrial Training Institute in trades such as Carpenter, Plumber, Mason, or Electrician. The age limit for candidates is between 18 and 23 years, with the crucial date for age determination being September 10, 2024.
Selected candidates will receive a pay scale from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 as per Level-3 of the Pay Matrix under the 7th Central Pay Commission. Additional benefits include allowances for dearness, ration money, special compensatory allowances (in border areas), accommodation or house rent, transport, leave travel, medical facilities, and pension benefits under the New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme.

Qualifications Details for ITBP Recruitment 2024
- Matriculation or equivalent from recognized board.

Age Limit for ITBP Recruitment 2024
- Applicants must be between 18 to 23 years.
- Crucial date for determining the age limit will be the closing date for submission of online application i.e. 10th September 2024 (10-09-2024).
- Candidates should not have been born earlier than 11th September 2001 (11/09/2001) and later than 10th September 2006 (10-09-2006).
Pay Scale for ITBP Recruitment 2024
- The post, classified under Level-3 in the Pay Matrix, offers a pay scale ranging from Rs. 21,700 to Rs. 69,100 as per the 7th Central Pay Commission (CPC).
- In addition to the basic pay, the post includes various allowances such as Dearness Allowance, Ration Money Allowance, Special Compensatory Allowance (when posted in specified border areas), and either free accommodation or House Rent Allowance (HRA).
- Other benefits include Transport Allowance, Leave Travel Concession, Free Medical Facilities, and any other allowances as per the Force's rules and instructions.
- Upon appointment, candidates will also be entitled to pension benefits under the New Restructured Defined Contributory Pension Scheme, applicable to new entrants in Central Government Services from 01/01/2004.

- Male Candidates belonging to General/UR OBC and EWS category applying for this recruitment Should pay examination fee of Rs. 100/- (Rupees One hundred only) as application fee through the online payment gateway system on https://recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in.
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen and females are exempted from paying examination fee. Fee once paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.
- Fee paid by modes other than online mode will not be accepted and the applications of such candidate will be rejected forthright. Besides above, the payment made in such cases shall stand forfeited.
Selection Process for ITBP Recruitment 2024
- Admit Cards to the candidates will be issued online mentioning the date and venue of recruitment test.
- Candidature of candidates who are issued online admit cards will remain provisional till they are finally selected and submit all related documents/certificates in original and in prescribed format at the stage of verification of original documents.
- Candidates are required to bring a clear & legible print out of their online application form & admit card; else they will not be permitted to enter the venue of Physical Efficiency Test (PET) & Physical Standard Test (PST).

- Candidates are advised to fill the online application form after reading the instructions carefully and should provide genuine and functional e-mail ID and Mobile number at the time of filling online application form.
- Details as required under various segments should be mentioned clearly, correctly and logically. As the applications need to be submitted online only, applications received offline shall not be considered and will be rejected summarily.
- Candidates are to fill all information e.g. Gender/Category (UR/SC/ST/OBC (NCL/EWS etc), Employment status/Riots affected, etc in the profile created on ITBP recruitment website before submission of online application.
- Any false/incorrect information in online application will lead to cancellation of candidature and no request for change in such details will be considered at later stages.
