Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC SHAR) in Sriharikota is the premier spaceport of India and a leading center of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), under the Department of Space, Government of India.
The center offers state-of-the-art launch infrastructure to support a wide range of launch vehicle and satellite missions, including those for remote sensing, communication, navigation, and scientific research. Qualification for ISRO Recruitment 2024
Essential Qualifications:
- M.B.B.S. degree
- MS/DNB in ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat)
- Recognition and registration with the Medical Council of India, State Medical Council, or National Medical Commission
Desirable Qualifications:
- Three years of surgical experience
- M.B.B.S. degree
- Diploma in Otorhinolaryngology (two years duration)
- Five years of surgical experience
- Recognition and registration with the Medical Council of India, State Medical Council, or National Medical Commission
Permanent Registration:
- Permanent registration with the State or National Medical Council is required.
Pay Scale for ISRO Recruitment 2024
- The selected candidate will be offered a pay scale of Level 11 in the Pay Matrix as per CCS (Revised Pay) Rules, 2016. They will receive a Non-Practicing Allowance (NPA) of 20% of the Basic Pay.
- Additional allowances such as Dearness Allowance (DA), House Rent Allowance (HRA), and Transport Allowance will be provided according to current Central Government norms.
- Retirement benefits will be governed by the National Pension System.
- Additional perks include free transport (in lieu of transport allowance), limited housing facility (in lieu of HRA), access to library facilities, House Building Advance, Leave Travel Concession, Group Insurance, and subsidized canteen facilities subject to applicable terms and conditions.
- Attractive medical benefits will be provided for employees and their eligible dependents.
Application Fee for ISRO Recruitment 2024
- The non-refundable application fee is Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two Hundred Fifty only) per application. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/Women/PWBD/Ex-Servicemen categories are exempt from this fee.
- Payments should be made online via Debit Card or Internet Banking. The deadline for application registration is 17:00 hrs on 06.09.2024.
- However, an extended payment option is available until 17:00 hrs on 07.09.2024 by selecting the ‘Make payment’ option on the online recruitment portal.
- Please note that no other payment methods are accepted. SDSC SHAR will not be responsible for any pending transactions, payment failures, or related issues.
- To avoid last-minute issues, candidates are advised to complete their application and payment well before the final deadline.

Selection Procedure for ISRO Recruitment 2024
- The selection process will be conducted through an interview. Please note that meeting the minimum prescribed qualifications does not automatically ensure an invitation to the interview.
- Candidates will first be screened based on their academic performance and the details provided in their online applications.
- Only those who successfully pass this initial screening will be invited to attend the interview, which will be held in Sriharikota.
- Final selection will depend on the candidate's performance in the interview.
