Qualification for ISEC Recruitment 2024
- Master's degree in Economics with specialisation in Environment and Ecology with 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D in Environmental/ Ecological Economics or related topics, preferably with course work in Environmental/ Ecological Economics and published work with a minimum of 10 publications as research articles in refereed journals with impact factor, books from international, Category A, Category B etc publishers as given in API score.
- Master's degree in Education/ Economics/ Sociology/ Psychology with 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- An eminent scholar with Ph.D in Education/ Economics/ Sociology/ Psychology preferably with course work in Education and published works in Education with a minimum of 10 publications as research articles in refereed journals with impact factor, books from international, Category A, Category B etc publishers as given in API score
- Master's degree in the discipline of Political Science/ Public Administration with above 55% marks in the aggregate or equivalent grade.
- Master's degree in Economics or Sociology or Political Science/ Public Administration with above 55% marks in the aggregate or Equivalent grade.
- Good academic record with a Ph.D degree in the above subjects preferably with course work in the Decentralisation and Development.
Selection Procedure for ISEC Recruitment 2024
- All the applications shall be authenticated and evaluated by the IQAC and authenticated as per the IQAC regulatory panel and Assessment Committee as approved by the Board.
- The API scoring pattern for direct recruitment to be used by IQAC as specified in the IQAC regulations passed by the Academic Council and approved by the Board.
- The minimum API score for the post of Professor and Associate Professor shall be 360 & 270 respectively, during the assessment period of any three years in the immediately preceding period of five calendar years.
- All the candidates appearing for the Interview for the above posts shall be required to make a 30 minute presentation before the Faculty members of the Institute.

- The application may be submitted to the Registrar, Institute for Social and Economic Change, Nagarabhavi PO, Bengaluru - 560 072 in person or through Registered Post to reach on or before July 15, 2024 by 5 PM.
- The applications received after the last date, applications which are incomplete in any respect will not be considered.
- The Institute takes no responsibility for any delay in receipt of the application or loss in postal transit. Applications complete in all respects are only considered.
- The applications shall be submitted in a sealed cover with superscribing it as "Application for the backlog post of Professor/ Associate Professor.
- The applicants shall submit the duly filled in applications in the prescribed form and furnish the information as per the MS Excel (This Excel sheet should not be modified by deleting or adding any row or column) file format which is uploaded in ISEC website, appropriate for the position.
- The hard copy of documents submitted in support of API Scores should be year wise, paginated and please mention the respective row and column number of the API score sheet (preferably bounded).
