Qualifications Details for IRCTC Recruitment 2024
- An applicant must hold a Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a University or Institution recognized by UGC/AICTE. IRCTC is seeking candidates for the position of Consultant/IT (PRS) at the Internet Ticketing Centre in New Delhi.
- Should have at least 10 years of experience in Indian Railways out of which minimum 5 years of experience must be in Database/PRS.
- Should have experience in Train Editing, Firing, Testing, Train Profiling to manage traffic. Should have knowledge of enhanced earning, testing new requirements, existing issues.
- Possess knowledge of setting up of User Requirement Specification (URS) with knowledge of Database.
- Should have knowledge of PRS Modernization and experience in coordinating with CRIS.

IRCTC is advertising for the engagement of one post of Consultant/IT (PRS) at the Internet Ticketing Centre, located at the IRCTC Corporate Office, on a temporary basis. Applicants should be below 64 years of age as of 31st May 2024.
Pay Scale for IRCTC Recruitment 2024
The remuneration for the Consultant will be as per IRCTC's existing policy. Applications are invited from retired Government/PSU officers who have served at Level 7 or Level 8 (7th CPC) in the Indian Railways. The initial tenure of re-engagement will be for one year, extendable based on the retired officer's performance and IRCTC's requirements, subject to IRCTC's discretion. Either party can terminate the re-engagement with one month's notice. However, IRCTC reserves the right to cancel the appointment without providing a reason at any time.
