Applications are invited for two Research Associate positions on a purely temporary basis for a Department of Biotechnology (DBT) sanctioned research project at IndianOil R&D Centre, Faridabad. The project focuses on developing high-value green chemicals from 2G lignin to enhance biorefinery sustainability.
One position requires a Ph.D. in Microbiology/Biochemistry/Biotechnology, with experience in biological conversion of lignin, while the other position requires a Ph.D. in Chemistry, with expertise in chemical catalysis of lignin.
The upper age limit is 40 years, and applicants must possess relevant experience and qualifications obtained through regular courses from recognized institutions. Qualification for IOCL Recruitment 2024
- Ph.D. in Microbiology/ Biochemistry/ Biotechnology/. Background and experience in biological conversion of lignin into high value products through Microbial Fermentation, Microbial Bioprocessing will be preferred
- Ph.D. in Chemistry/ Organic Chemistry/ In-organic Chemistry/ Analytical Chemistry/ Physical Chemistry. Background and experience in Chemical catalysis of lignin to produce biofuels, biochemicals, bioproducts and energy research will be preferred.
Pay Scale for IOCL Recruitment 2024
- For the IOCL Recruitment 2024, the pay scale for the Research Associate position will be in accordance with the Department of Biotechnology (DBT) and Department of Science and Technology (DST) norms, as well as the available sanctioned research project grant.
- Emoluments for the Research Associate role will be determined based on these guidelines, ensuring fair compensation for the selected candidates.
