The Intelligence Bureau has released a notification for the recruitment of 02 Deputy Director/Executive positions in New Delhi. The salary for the position ranges from Rs. 1,31,100 to Rs. 2,16,600. The last date to apply offline is 24th May 2024. Eligibility criteria include holding analogous posts in Central or State Governments, having two years' service in a specified grade, or being an Officer of the rank of Brigadier in the Army or equivalent.
Ex-servicemen of the rank of Brigadier due to retire or be transferred to reserve within a year are also eligible. Applicants must possess a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute and have five years' experience in intelligence work, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, or counterespionage.

Qualification for Intelligence Bureau Recruitment 2024
(A) Officer of Central Government or State Governments or Union Territories including All india Services other than Indian Police Service:-
(i) holding analogous post on regular basis in the parent cadre or department; or
(ii) with two years' service in the grade rendered after appointment thereto on regular basis in the post in Level 13 (Rs. 1,23,100 - 2,15,900) in the pay matrix or equivalent in the parent cadre or department; if Level 13A (Rs. 1,31,100 - 2,16,600) in the pay matrix or equivalent is not available in the service or cadre; or
(B) Officer of the rank of Brigadier in Level 13A (Rs. 1,39,600 - 2,17,600) in the pay matrix in the Army or of equivalent rank from other wings of the Defence Forces; or
(C) For Ex-Servicemen (Deputation/ Re-employment):
a. The Armed Forces personnel of the rank of Brigadier in Level 13A (Rs. 1,39,600 - 2,17,600) in the pay matrix in the Army or of equivalent rank from other wings of the defence forces who are due to retire or to be transferred to reserve within a period of one year, shall also be considered.
b. If selected, such officers will be given deputation terms up to the date on which they are due for release from the Armed Forces; thereafter they may be continued on re- employment, AND
(D) Possessing the following educational qualifications and experience, namely:
(i) Bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institute; (ii) five years' experience in the field of intelligence work/counter intelligence/counter terrorism/counter espionage

(ii) Copies of the updated ACRs/APARs for last five years attested by lending department, (ili) Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate including a statement of major/minor penalties, if any, imposed on the officer during the last 10 years.
