INST (Institute of Nano Science and Technology) is recruiting for the position of Junior Research Fellow with one vacancy. The last date to apply is April 29, 2024. The salary offered for the position is Rs. 37,000/- per month plus HRA. Candidates must hold an M.Sc. degree in Physics or an M.Tech. degree in Material Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology.
The age limit is 28 years as of April 29, 2024, with relaxation for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules. Experience in scientific computing, Nanoscience, and nanotechnology is preferred. The position is purely temporary and renewable annually for a maximum of three years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier.

INST Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- M.Sc. Degree in Physics Or M.Tech. degree in Material Science/Nanoscience & Nanotechnology and selected through a process described through any one of the following
- Scholars who are selected through National Eligibility Tests–CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship) or GATE or JEST.
- The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their Agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MoE, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, NISER etc.
- Experience in scientific computing, Nanoscience and nanotechnology will be preferred.
INST Recruitment 2024 Age Limit
- The age limit for candidates is 28 years as of April 29, 2024, with relaxation for certain reserved categories as per Government of India rules. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in scientific computing, Nanoscience, and nanotechnology. The position is temporary and renewable annually for a maximum of three years or until the completion of the project, whichever comes first.

General Terms and Conditions For INST Recruitment 2024
- The position is purely temporary and on a contractual basis and renewable each year subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of three years or till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The position is co-terminus with the project.
- Candidate selected for this position can also apply for the regular PhD program of INST provided they satisfy the eligibility criteria.
- No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview.
