The Institute of Nano Science and Technology in Mohali, India, is seeking a highly motivated individual for the position of Project Senior Research Fellow (SRF) funded by SERB, Government of India. The research project, led by Principal Investigator Dr. Kiran Shankar Hazra and Co-PI Dr. Rehan Khan, focuses on developing nanostructured MoS2 based SERS and FET biosensors for detecting Sepsis biomarkers.
The SRF position requires a postgraduate degree in Physics, Electronics, or Material Science, or a graduate/postgraduate degree in a relevant professional course, selected through national eligibility tests like CSIR-UGC NET or GATE, or other national-level examinations conducted by central government departments and agencies.
Two years of research experience is mandatory, preferably in sensing, FET, electrical transport, Raman spectroscopy, or device fabrication. Applicants must be under 30 years old as of May 20, 2024, although there are relaxations for certain reserved categories as per government rules.

Qualifications Details for INST Recruitment 2024
- Post Graduate Degree in Physics/Electronics/Material Science or Graduate / Post Graduate Degree in Professional course
