Qualification for Indian Museum Kolkata Recruitment 2024

Hindi Translator: Essential qualifications: Graduate in Hindi and English, 5 years’ translation experience. Desirable: Knowledge of Bengali, typing speed of 30 wpm in Hindi.

Assistant Librarian: Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in Ancient Indian History, Anthropology, or related field, Diploma in Library Science, 1 year’s library experience.

Modeller: Essential qualifications: School Final or equivalent, Degree/Diploma in Arts with modeling specialization, 3 years’ practical experience. Desirable: Knowledge or experience in Museum work.

Guide Lecturer (Zoology): Essential qualifications: Master’s degree in Zoology, ability to communicate in Hindi, English, and Bengali. Desirable: Diploma in Museology, experience in Museum work, published research in Zoology.
Pay Scale for Indian Museum Kolkata Recruitment 2024
Pay Level and Scale of Pay: Level – 5, (Rs.29,200 -92,300/-)
Age Limit for Indian Museum Kolkata Recruitment 2024
Twenty-eight (28) years as on the closing date for receipt of applications. For reserved categories upper age limit is relaxable as per extant Government of India orders. Upper age limit is also relaxable by the Board on the recommendations of the Selection Committee if the candidates are found otherwise suitable.

- Last date for receipt of complete application is 14.10.2024 (up to 5:00 p.m.).
- Applications received after the last date or otherwise found incomplete will not be considered and stand rejected.
- Decision of Indian Museum in this regard shall be final.
