Indian Bank is recruiting 1500 apprentices for various positions in Chennai. Candidates aged between 20 and 28 years, with a graduate degree from a recognized university or equivalent qualification obtained after March 31, 2020, are eligible to apply. The application process involves an Online Written Test comprising sections on Reasoning Aptitude, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Financial Awareness.

Qualifications Details for Indian Bank Recruitment 2024
Graduate degree in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualifications recognized as such by the Central Government. Candidates should have completed & have passing certificate for their graduation after 31.03.2020.
Age Limit for Indian Bank Recruitment 2024
Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years as on cut-off date. However, relaxation in upper age limit for categories like SC/ST/OBC/PWBD etc. as per Govt. of India guidelines is applicable. The cut-off date will be first date of the month of Advertisement for the engagement.
Application Fee for Indian Bank Recruitment 2024
For the engagement of apprentices at Indian Bank, candidates are required to pay a non-refundable Application Fees / Intimation Charges based on their category. General, OBC, and EWS candidates must pay Rs. 500/-, while SC, ST, and PwBD candidates are exempt from any fees. Indian Bank has announced a total of 1500 apprenticeship positions for this recruitment drive.
Selection Process for Indian BankRecruitment 2024
- The initial stage is an Online Written Test, which is objective in nature. The test consists of four parts: Reasoning Aptitude and Computer Knowledge, General English, Quantitative Aptitude, and General Financial Awareness. Each part includes 25 questions, totaling 100 questions overall, with each question carrying one mark.
- The duration of the test is 60 minutes. The test will be conducted in major regional languages as determined by the Bank, with the exception of General English, which will be in English. Negative marking applies, with 1/4th of the mark assigned to a question deducted for each incorrect answer.
- The decision to conduct interviews will be at the discretion of the Bank. Following the test, a merit list will be prepared state-wise and category-wise, based on aggregate marks in descending order. In cases where multiple candidates achieve the same aggregate score at the cutoff, their ranking on the merit list will be determined by age in descending order within their respective states and categories. Additionally, a waitlist may be established state-wise and category-wise to address any shortfall in candidate engagement.
