Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Qualifications Details

• The selection of candidates will be carried out for RT JCO as per qualitative requirements:-
• RT Pandit and Pandit (Gorkha) for Gorkha Regiment. Hindu Candidate with Shastri/ Acharya in Sanskrit from UGC recognized University. In addition, an individual should have under mentioned religious qualification: Karam Kand as one of the main/ core subjects during Shastri/ Acharya or One year Diploma in Karam Kand
• RT Granthi. Sikh Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University. In addition, individuals should have “Gyani" in Punjabi.
• RT Maulvi. Muslim Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University. In addition, individuals should have Alim in Arabic or Adeeb-e-Mahir/ Urdu Mahir in Urdu.
• RT Padre. Christian Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC-recognized University. In addition, an individual should have been ordained priesthood by the appropriate ecclesiastical authority and be on the approved list of the local Bishop.
• RT Budhist. Buddhist Candidate with Graduation in any discipline from a UGC recognized University. In addition, an individual should have been ordained as a Monk/Buddhist Priest by an Appropriate Authority. The term Appropriate Authority‟ will mean the Head Priest of the Monastery where the person has been initiated into priesthood. The Head Priest should be in possession of Geshe (Ph.D.) of Khanpa or Lopon or Rajbam with a proper certificate from the Monastery.

Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Age Limit

• Civilian Candidates. 27-34 Years (as on 01 Oct 2024) Candidates born between 01 Oct 1997 to 01 Oct 1990 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply.
• In-Service Candidates. Same age criteria as above.

Indian Army Recruitment 2024 Examination Fee

• The examination fee of Rs 250/- plus banking charges, as applicable is to be paid by the candidate for the online examination. The candidate, on successfully filling the application will be directed to SBI portal through a link on the website for the fee payment. The payment can be made through any of the payment

Selection Process for Indian Army Recruitment 2024

• Paper-I is common to candidates and is a qualifying exam only. Candidates scoring min 40% marks in Paper-I will only be assessed in Paper-II. Marks obtained in Paper-I will not be counted for the preparation of merit list for appearing in the Recruitment Rally

How to Apply for Indian Army Recruitment 2024

• In-service candidates to register themselves & apply for recruitment on the website www.joinindianarmy.nic.in and subsequently appear in the Online CEE at the allotted exam centre, based on the choice of locations chosen by them.
• Animated videos “How to Register & Apply” and “How to Appear for Online Common Entrance Examination” (CEE) are available on www.joinindianarmy.nic.in
• Online Registration (submission of application) will commence from 13 February 2024 to 22 March 2024
• All candidates to log in to joinindianarmy.nic.in, check their eligibility status and create their profile.
• Candidates are required to have an active email & mobile number which will be used for further communication.
