- The applicant should be an Engineering graduate with good academic record from a recognized University/ Institution. Applicants with electronics and electrical engineering/ MBA/ PGDM will have an added advantage
- The applicant should possess at least five years technical/ operational/ production planning experience during the last ten years at a senior level of management in the Electronics & Communication Industry

The age of superannuation for the position is set at 60 years. For internal candidates, the minimum age requirement is 40 years, with a requirement of at least 2 years of residual service as of the date of vacancy in relation to the superannuation date. For candidates from outside the organization, the minimum age requirement is also 40 years, but with a slightly higher requirement of 3 years of residual service as of the date of vacancy in relation to the superannuation date.
