Position, Vacancy for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
- Income Tax Inspector (Group C): 11
- Tax Assistant (Group C): 11
- Multi-Tasking Staff (Group C): 11
Qualification for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
- For Income Tax Inspectors: - (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent.
- For Tax Assistants: - (i) Degree from a recognized University or equivalent. (ii) Having Data Entry Speed of 8,000 Key depressions per hour.
- For Multi-Tasking Staff: - (i) 10th class pass or equivalent from a recognized board or university.
Pay Scale for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
Grade Pay (Pre-revised)
- Income Tax Inspector (Group C): 9300-34800 + Grade Pay 4600 (PB-2)
- Tax Assistant (Group C): 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 2400 (PB-1)
- Multi-Tasking Staff (Group C): 5200-20200 + Grade Pay 1800 (PB-1)
Age Limit for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
- For Inspector of Income Tax - 18 to 30 years of age
- For Tax Assistant/ Multi-Tasking Staff - 18 to 27 years of age
- Relaxation of Age - 5 years for General/OBC candidates 10 years in case of SC/ST candidates (As per Govt. of India instructions for Meritorious Sportspersons)
Documents Required for Income Tax Recruitment 2024
(i) Matriculation/SSC or equivalent certificate for proof of age. (Compulsory)
(ii) Certificates of Educational qualifications. (As per the requirements of the post)
(ili) Sports/games certificates
(iv) SC/ST/OBC community certificate.
(v) Valid Proof of ID (Aadhar Card, Driving License, Passport, PAN Card or Voter ID) The candidate must be in possession of the requisite qualification for the concerned post as on the date of his application.
Income Tax Recruitment 2024 Last Date to Apply at tnincometax.gov.in
- Applications must be submitted only by online mode which can be accessed from the following URL: https://nincometax.gov.in.
- Application duly filled and completed in all respect, shall be submitted online on or before the stipulated date 05.10.2024.
- The application link in the Department website will be functional till 12:00 Midnight of the stipulated date.
- Application submitted manually and also applications submitted online with soft copies of invalid documents or illegible scanned documents, will be rejected and no correspondence in the matter will be made with the applicant.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification.
- The date and venue for Document Verification will be intimated to the shortlisted candidates in due course.
- Any Corrigendum with respect to this Notification will be published only on the official website: https://tnincometax.gov.in.
