Qualification for IMU Recruitment 2024

• A Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Sports OR Physical Education OR Sports Science with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale, wherever the grading system is followed)
• Record of having represented the University / College at the interUniversity / inter-Collegiate competitions or the State and/or National Championships
• Cleared National Eligibility Test (NET), conducted by the UGC or CSIR, or a similar test accredited by the UGC, like SLET / SET.
• Ph.D in Physical Education OR Physical Education and Sports OR Sports Science, in accordance with the UGC Regulations
• Passed the physical fitness test conducted in accordance with UGC Regulations

Selection Procedure for IMU Recruitment 2024

The selection process shall comprise of a physical fitness test (if applicable) followed by a personal interview, before the Selection Committee. In case of large number of applicants (as decided by the Committee), a screening test shall be conducted to shortlist the applicants for personal interview.

Shortlisted applicants for further selection process shall be intimated by email(s) with regard to the date & time of the physical fitness test / screening test / interview.
