Institute of Microbial Technology (IMTech) is inviting applications for the position of Project Associate-II through its recruitment notification released on April 4, 2024. Interested candidates can apply online on the IMTech website at imtech.res.in. The deadline for submission is April 28, 2024.
Applicants must hold a Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or a bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technology, or Medicine from a recognized university or equivalent, along with 2 years of relevant experience.
Candidates with a Master’s Degree/PG in computer science or a B.E/B. Tech in Computer/Electronics or equivalent are also eligible, provided they have minimum 2 years of industrial/academic experience in specified fields. The salary for selected candidates ranges from Rs. 28,000/- to Rs. 35,000/- per month, depending on their qualifications and selection process.

IMTech Recruitment 2024 Qualification
- Master’s Degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences/ MVSc or bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology or Medicine from a recognized University or equivalent; and
- 2 years’ experience in Research and Development in industrial and Academic Institutions or Science and Technology Organisations and Scientific activities and services.
- Master’s Degree/PG in computer science or B.E/ B. Tech in Computer/Electronics or equivalent with minimum 2 years industrial/academic experience in UI/UX development, computational biology, MD simulations, PHP, MySQL, Bash scripting, Server admin. Proficiency in programming languages, such as Java, HTML, or PHP, and CSS.
- Experience in exploring libraries and frameworks (for example Bootstrap and JQuery) and using Github, a version control system.
- Extensive knowledge of advancements and trends in web design. Exceptional ability to contribute creativity and innovation to web projects. Superb leadership, collaboration and communication skills. Excellent organizational and timemanagement skills.
