A Senior Research Fellow (SRF) position is available for a project led by Dr. Sachin Kumar Singh, an Associate Professor at the Indian Institute of Technology (ISM) Dhanbad, focusing on the development of a wind turbine condition monitoring system through signal processing and machine learning techniques.
The position is temporary, lasting for the duration of the three-year project until March 2027. The SRF will be responsible for conducting both numerical and experimental investigations on wind turbine condition monitoring, including setting up experiments, conducting experiments, and developing machine learning and signal processing algorithms for analysis. Qualifications Details for IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Recruitment 2024
- The applicant should have a consistently good academic record throughout. The applicant should have a minimum M.E./M.Tech degree in Mechanical (Design/Thermal/Tribology) / Applied Mechanics/ Computer Science / Mathematics and Computing/ Electronics / Electrical Engg with minimum first class or equivalent grade from a reputed institute (minimum of 60% marks/CGPA of 6.0 (on a 10-point scale)). The applicant should be GATE-qualified and have two years of experience as a JRF.
- Knowledge of Mechanical Vibration, Digital Signal Processing, and Machine Learning are required. Knowledge of coding languages, such as Matlab and Python, 3D drawing software SOLIDWORKS and analysis software ANSYS FLUENT, is required.
Age Limit for IIT(ISM) Dhanbad Recruitment 2024
