IIT (BHU) Varanasi has released a recruitment notification for the position of Junior Research Fellow. There is one vacancy available for this role. Candidates must hold a B.Tech/B.E./M.E./M.Tech. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Design/Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or related branches with First Division at both the Graduate and Postgraduate levels.
Candidates should be qualified in GATE/NET and possess work experience with programming tools and finite element simulation packages. Knowledge of computational tools, CAD modeling, and finite element analysis is required. The upper age limit for this position is 28 years, with relaxation applicable for Female/SC/ST/Physically Handicapped candidates.

IIT(BHU) Varanasi Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- B.Tech/B.E./M.E./M.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Production/Design/Manufacturing Engineering, Applied Mechanics, Metallurgy, Materials Science, or any allied branches with First Division both at Graduate and Post graduate level.
- Qualified GATE/NET
- Candidates having work experience with programming tools (C/MATLAB/FORTRAN) and finite element simulation packages (ABAQUS, etc).
- Knowledge of computational tools and packages
- Knowledge of CAD modeling and finite element analysis
- Any prior experience in computational mechanics The candidate with the above-mentioned qualifications will be given a preference
