IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Project Associate Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitrpr.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar is seeking applications from Indian nationals for the position of Project Associate to work on a SERB, Government of India sponsored project titled "Multi-objective design of novel composite metastructures." The position is for a duration of one year or until the completion of the project, whichever comes first, with emoluments as per DST rules.
Candidates should hold a Post Graduate degree (M.Tech.) or a Graduate degree (B.Tech.) in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering/Materials, with a valid GATE score. Experience in experimental/simulations of vibration analysis in elastic bodies is desirable, as the project involves developing metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption with enhanced stiffness and strength. Project Associates will be expected to assist with experimental and computational aspects using software like Ansys or Comsol.
The walk-in interview is tentatively scheduled for 17th May, 2024, conducted online/offline. Qualifications Details for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
- Post Graduate degree (M.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials or Equivalent with valid GATE score. or Graduate degree (B.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials with a valid GATE score
- Since the project involves development of metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption with enhanced stiffness and strength, the candidate who has experience in working on experimental/simulations of vibration analysis in elastic bodies can apply. The candidate is expected to be familiar with modeling and simulation using Ansys or Comsol.
