The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar invites applications for the position of Project Associate II under an ICMR-funded project titled “Bolstering BCG efficacy by expressing memory enhancing cytokines IL-7 and IL-15 to elicit long-lasting memory T cells and protection against Mycobacterium tuberculosis”. The project, led by Prof. Javed N. Agrewala from the Department of Biomedical Engineering, is slated to run for two years.
The role offers a consolidated salary of Rs. 35,000 plus HRA per month. Applicants must hold a post-graduate degree in Life Sciences or Allied Sciences and have at least two years of research experience in fields such as Microbiology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Gut microbiome, or Bioinformatics. Preference will be given to candidates with publications in high-impact journals.
