IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Apply for Latest Junior Research Fellow Vacancy notification
Applications are invited from Indian nationals for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a DBT-funded project focused on developing carbonaceous filler-reinforced biopolymer nanocomposites for semi-biologic hernial mesh fabrication. The project is led by Dr. Bodhisatwa Das at IIT Ropar.
Candidates must have a BTech/MTech in relevant engineering disciplines or an MSc in related sciences with at least 60% marks or a 7.5 CGPA (5% or 0.5 CGPA relaxation for SC/ST/PH candidates) and valid GATE/NET qualifications. Experience in 3D bioprinting and CAD modeling is preferred, along with a minimum of 2 years of post-qualification research experience.
The position offers a salary as per DBT norms and is initially for six months, extendable up to 18 months based on performance and funding. Qualifications Details for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
- BTech /MTech in Biotechnology/Biomedical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering/ Polymer Engineering/ Materials Engineering or relevant discipline; M Pharm/MS in Pharmacy, or MSc in Biotechnology/ Biochemistry/ Zoology / Microbiology/Chemistry with at least 60% or 7.5 CGPA [ 5% or 0.5 CGPA relaxation will be provided to SC/ST/PH candidates] with valid GATE / NET (for B Tech/MSc) qualifications.
- Experience of 3D bioprinting and CAD modeling is preferred. A candidate with at least 2 years of post-qualification research experience is preferred.
Pay Scale for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
The salary for this position will be as per DBT norms. The duration of the appointment is initially for six months, with the possibility of extension up to 18 months based on performance and availability of funding. The position available is for one Junior Research Fellow (JRF).
