IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Project Associate Vacancies ,Check Eligibility at iitrpr.ac.in

IIT Ropar has announced a recruitment notification for a Project Associate position available within a SERB, Government of India project focused on the development of metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption.

The institute is seeking candidates with a Postgraduate degree (M.Tech.) or Graduate degree (B.Tech.) in Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering, or Materials, each with a valid GATE score. Ideal candidates will have experience in experimental or simulation work related to vibration analysis in elastic bodies and should be proficient in modeling and simulation tools like Ansys or Comsol.

Interested applicants are required to submit a one-page cover letter, their Curriculum Vitae, and a copy of their valid GATE score (if applicable) via email to [email protected]. The subject line of the email should mention the SERB project on meta-structures. Applications must be submitted by May 15, 2024, to be considered for the walk-in interview scheduled for May 17, 2024, which may be conducted online or offline.

IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Qualifications

• Post Graduate degree (M.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials or Equivalent with valid GATE score.
• Graduate degree (B.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials with a valid GATE score.
• Since the project involves development of metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption with enhanced stiffness and strength, the candidate who has experience in working on experimental/simulations of vibration analysis in elastic bodies can apply.
• We are looking for Project Associates who can assist to perform experimental and computational aspects of the project work. The candidate is expected to be familiar with modeling and simulation using Ansys or Comsol.

Selection Process For IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
