IIT Ropar has announced a recruitment notification for a Project Associate position available within a SERB, Government of India project focused on the development of metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption.

IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Qualifications
- Post Graduate degree (M.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials or Equivalent with valid GATE score.
- Graduate degree (B.Tech.) in Mechanical/ Aerospace Engineering/Materials with a valid GATE score.
- Since the project involves development of metamaterial structures for low frequency vibration absorption with enhanced stiffness and strength, the candidate who has experience in working on experimental/simulations of vibration analysis in elastic bodies can apply.
- We are looking for Project Associates who can assist to perform experimental and computational aspects of the project work. The candidate is expected to be familiar with modeling and simulation using Ansys or Comsol.
