IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitrpr.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology Ropar (IIT Ropar) is inviting applications for two Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions, with a salary of Rs 37,000 per month. Candidates must have an M.E./M.Tech in Computer Science, Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, or Electronics and Communication Engineering, or a B.E./B.Tech in the same fields along with a qualification in CSIR/UGC NET or GATE.
The ideal candidates will possess a strong academic background and expertise in areas such as cyber/network security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing, and Computer Networks. The maximum age for applicants is 28 years, with relaxation for SC, ST, OBC, and women candidates.
The selected JRFs will engage in research and development related to cyber security in the FinTech domain, including Proof-of-Concept development and organizing training events. The selection process involves an interview, which may be conducted online or offline.

Qualifications Details for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
- M.E./MTech in CSE/IT/AI/ECE or,
- B.E./BTech in either of the aforementioned fields with the following criterion:
- The candidate must have qualification in National Eligibility Test such as CSIR/UGC NET or GATE.
- The candidates must have good academic background and good knowledge in any of the following areas: cyber/network security, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Natural Language Processing (NLP) & Computer Networks

- Maximum 28 years at the date of joining with suitable age relaxations applicable for SC, ST and OBC and Women candidates
Job Description for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
The candidates will perform research and development work in various activities of the project e.g., Proof-of-Concept development, generation of IPR, organization of Bootcamps, Hackathon, assisting in the design of Master Trainer courses, etc., concerned with the development of manpower and research in cyber security for FinTech domain.
Selection Process for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
Shortlisted candidates will be informed through email about the interview. The interview would be in online/offline mode. The date and time of interview would be sent to the shortlisted candidates by email. Mere possession of the minimum qualifications does not guarantee an invitation to the interview. Candidates will be shortlisted based on their merits and as per the requirements of the project.
