IIT Ropar is seeking applications from Indian Nationals for the position of Research Associate I under the DRDO-CARS project titled “Process parameters optimization for laser ablation resistive coatings” (Reference No. DGNSM/DLJ/PROC(PRR)/24-25/007).
Candidates must possess a Doctorate in disciplines such as Mechanical, Aerospace, Production, Manufacturing, Automobile, Welding, Mechatronics, or Surface Engineering, with a minimum of three research papers in peer-reviewed journals. Alternatively, candidates with a patent will also be considered. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Thermal Spraying or Surface Engineering.
The position offers a salary of Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA, as per DST norms, for a duration of two years or until the project's conclusion. Initially appointed for one year, extensions are subject to satisfactory performance. Qualifications Details for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
- Doctorate in areas related to Mechanical / Aerospace / Production /Manufacturing / Automobile / Welding / Mechatronics / Surface Engineering or equivalentwith at least three research papers in peer-reviewed Journal. In case the candidate has apatent, that will also be considered equivalent to one research paper
- The candidates having experience in the field of ThermalSpraying/Surface Engineering will be given preference
Pay Scale for IIT Ropar Recruitment 2024
The position of Research Associate I is available for a duration of two years or until the conclusion of the project, whichever occurs first. The initial appointment will be granted for one year, with the possibility of extension contingent upon satisfactory performance during the served year(s). The fellowship for this position is Rs. 58,000 plus HRA, in accordance with DST norms.
