Indian Institute of Technology, Roorkee's Department of Hydro and Renewable Energy is seeking applications from Indian nationals for a Research Associate position for the "Centre of Excellence" project funded by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy.

The position offers an emolument ranging from Rs. 30,000 to Rs. 75,000 per month plus HRA for a duration of one year or until project completion. - Candidates should possess an M. Tech degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Hydropower Engineering, along with a minimum of one year of relevant work experience as described in the job description.

- The responsibilities include conducting discharge and cross-sectional area measurements in rivers and canals, designing hydrokinetic turbines, estimating quantities, coordinating field trials, and overseeing the implementation of the developed turbines.

- Candidates shall bring along with them the original degree(s)/certificate(s) and experience certificate(s) at the time of interview for verification.
- Preference will be given to SC/ST candidates on equal qualifications and experience.
- Please note that no TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
