IIT Patna Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitp.ac.in
Applications are invited for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a research project conducted by the Indian Institute of Technology Patna, sponsored by the Central Power Research Institute (CPRI). The JRF will receive a consolidated fellowship of Rs. 37,000 per month for an initial duration of one year, extendable up to two years based on performance.
Candidates must hold a B.S. 4-year program/Integrated B.S.-M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree with 55% marks, along with passing the NET-LS/GATE test, and should have scored 60% or higher in 10th and 12th. Preferred disciplines include Chemical Engineering/Technology, Materials Science/Engineering, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, and others.
Applicants must be within the age limit of 28 years for B.Tech./B.E. and 32 years for M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc., with relaxations applicable for reserved categories. Research experience in reaction engineering and heterogeneous catalysis is desirable. Key responsibilities involve conducting research, assisting in project planning and execution, data analysis and interpretation, report writing, collaboration, compliance with ethical guidelines, and professional development.

Qualifications Details for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
B.S. 4-year programme/Integrated B.S.- M.S./M.Sc./B.E./B. Tech. or equivalent degree, with 55% marks and passing of NET-LS/GATE Test60% (or higher) in 10th and 12th .
Bachelor’s/Master’s degree level in the following disciplines: Chemical Engineering/Technology, MaterialsScience/Engineering, Nanoscience, Nanotechnology, Metallurgical Engineering, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Polymer Science/Technology, Ceramic Engineering/Technology, Environmental Engineering, Energy Science and Engineering, Chemicaland Electrochemical Engineering, Physics and Chemistry.Valid GATE (with papercode CH, XE, CY, MT, PH and PE) or NET Score is required.
Age Limit for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years for B. Tech./B.E. and 32 years for M. Tech./M.E./M.Sc. degree. Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PD will be given as per the GOI rules. Research experience in the field of reaction engineering and heterogeneous catalysiswill be given preference.
Pay Scale for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
