IIT Patna Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Junior Research Fellow Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitp.ac.in
The Indian Institute of Technology Patna announces a vacancy for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a time-bound research project funded by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Government of India. The project focuses on "Coalescence dynamics of aqueous droplet at nanoscale: Insight from molecular simulation".
The JRF position is initially for one year, extendable up to three years based on performance, with a consolidated fellowship/salary ranging from Rs. 37,000 to Rs. 42,000 per month. Candidates must have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology, Biochemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant fields, with valid GATE/NET qualification.

Qualification for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
- B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering/Technology,BiochemicalEngineering, Mechanical Engineering With Valid GATE score/NET qualification, Or
- M.E./M.Tech. or equivalent degree in Chemical Engineering/ChemicalTechnology/BiochemicalEngineering/Mechanical Engineering (and specialisations therein)with GATE / NET qualification, Or
- M.Sc. in physics and chemistry with valid GATE score/NET qualification The candidate desirably should have BE/B.Tech, ME/M.Tech, M.Sc. degree or equivalent degree with a minimum CPI of 6.5 or 60 % of marks.
Salary for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
- Consolidated Fellowship/Salary:Rs. 37,000/- per month for first two years + HRA (as applicable)
- Rs. 42,000/- per month for the third year + HRA (as applicable)
Age Limit for IIT Patna Recruitment 2024
- The upper age limit for JRF shall be 28 years for B. Tech./B.E. and 32 years for M. Tech./M.E./M.Sc. degree.
- Relaxations for SC/ST/OBC/Women/PD will be given as per the GOI rules.
