Qualification for IIT Palakkad Recruitment 2024
- M.E/ M.Tech in Electrical Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with 5 years of relevant experience Or
- B.E/ B.Tech in Electrical Engineering with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with 8 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University / Institution with 2 years of relevant experience Or
- Three-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University / Institution with 5 years of relevant experience
- M.Sc in Chemistry with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution with 2 years of relevant experience. Or
- B.Sc in Chemistry with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institution with 4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university with 4 years of relevant experience Or
- Master’s degree with at least 55% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized university with 2 years of relevant experience
- Post SSLC with 2 year ITI in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering with 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized Board/ University/ Institute with 2 years of relevant experience
- Bachelor’s degree with at least 60% marks or equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/Institute with knowledge of computer operations

- Upper Age Limit is 27 to 45 Years
- Age, qualification and experience will be calculated on the closing date of online applications.

Application fees for IIT Palakkad Recruitment 2024
- Application Fee and Process: There will be an application fee of Rs. 200/- (Rupees Two hundred only).
- Candidates belonging to Scheduled castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD) and Women candidates are exempted from payment of Application Fee.
- The candidates are required to pay the application fee through the payment gateway of the Online Application Portal only. The Application Fee once paid will not be refunded.
Selection Procedure for IIT Palakkad Recruitment 2024
- In case, the number of applications received are high, the Scrutiny/Shortlisting Committee may adopt additional/higher criteria for shortlisting.
- The shortlisted applicants will be called for the selection process and subsequent stage(s), as applicable, on qualifying the same as per decision of the Committee
- Candidates will be shortlisted for the selection process on the basis of the information furnished by them in their online application.

- Candidates possessing the requisite qualifications and experience may apply online only. The online portal for applications will be active from 2100 hrs on February 07, 2024 onwards.
