The Department of Intellectual Property Management Cell at the Centre for IC&SR, IIT Madras, invites applications for the temporary position of Data Analyst. Coordinated by the Dean of IC&SR, this role is initially offered for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

There is one vacancy available for this position. This opportunity allows individuals to contribute to the intellectual property management initiatives at one of India's premier institutions, working closely with the Office of IC&SR.

IIT Madras Recruitment 2024 Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree, preferably in Statistics or Information Technology, Economics, Computer Science, or Mathematics with at least 60% Data Science, freshers may apply. Any non-engineering graduates
• The applicant should have a Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Data Management or Data analyst. Experience (Mandatory)
• Pay Scale: Rs 25,000/- to Rs 40,000/- Per Month
• Job Description: As a Data Analyst specializing in data management tools, you will play a crucial role in analysing, interpreting, and presenting data to support informed decision-making within our organization.
• Leveraging your expertise in data management, you will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure data quality, integrity, and reliability across various projects and initiatives.
• Data Analysis: Utilize the data management tools and platforms to analyze large datasets, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies, and derive actionable insights.
• Data Modeling: Design and develop data models using Informatica PowerCenter or other relevant tools to support business requirements and data integration processes.
• Data Integration: Implement efficient data integration solutions using new age data management software extract, transform, and load data from disparate sources into target systems
• Data Quality Management: Implement and maintain data quality standards and processes within Informatics to ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
