Qualifications Details for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2024
- M.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Computer Science, or equivalent or B.Tech/B.E in Electronics, Electrical, Instrumentation Computer Science, or equivalent or + 3 years' relevant experience
- Design and development of analog front-end circuits for various applications, including medical monitoring devices, sensor interfaces, and wireless sensor networks for IoT applications.
- Experience with PCB design and layout tools.

- Design and develop embedded software and hardware systems, including FPGA-based solutions, based on project requirements.
- Write, debug, and test firmware code for microcontrollers, and develop code libraries for reuse.
- Develop and maintain test procedures, documentation, and release notes for products.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.
- Continuously learn and apply new technologies, sharing knowledge with team members.
- Provide technical support for collaborators and troubleshoot issues as needed.
- Implement FPGA-based designs for various applications.
Pay Scale for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2024
The salary ranges from Rs. 31,600 to Rs. 78,400 per month, depending on qualifications. The appointment will be temporary and contractual, initially for one year, with the possibility of extension up to three years or until the project concludes, whichever comes first.
Requirements for IIT Kanpur Recruitment 2024
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C and C++.
- Strong knowledge of microcontroller platforms such as AVR and ARM.
- Experience with Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs), including design and debugging.
- Knowledge of AFE design, including amplifier design, filter design, and analog-to-digital conversion.
- Familiarity with basic communication protocols such as UART, I2C, and SPI.
- Experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth and Wi-Fi.
- Familiarity with wireless sensor networks and IoT applications.
- Experience with developing and debugging firmware code for microcontrollers.
