Candidates must hold a Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or a Graduate Degree in a Professional Course with NET or GATE qualification, or a Post Graduate Degree in a Professional Course with NET or GATE qualification.

The maximum age limit for applicants is 35 years, with relaxation available for certain categories as per Central Government Rules.
