The Department of Electrical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Technology Jammu is seeking applications for the position of Project Assistant to work on a sponsored research project titled “Development of a Real-Time Testing platform to improve Power Prediction and Grid Integration of Large-Scale Solar PVs for Energy Management,” funded by JK Science and Technology & Innovation Council under the Department of Science and Technology, Government of Jammu and Kashmir.
The position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance or project duration, offering a salary of Rs. 20,000 per month. The essential qualification for the Project Assistant position includes an M.E./M.Tech./MS(R) or equivalent degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields with a minimum of 65% marks, or a B.E./B.Tech/M.Sc. in the same disciplines with the same percentage, with preference given to candidates with a valid GATE/NET score.
Age limit for the position is 28 years, with relaxations for certain categories. Qualifications Details for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
