Qualification for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
- MTech./MS or equivalent degree in CSE/EE/ECE/IT with 60% marks or 6.5 CGPA. OR B.Tech/BE in CSE/EE/ECE/IT with 65% marks or 7.0 CGPA (Relaxation to SC/ST/OBC/PwD will be given as per the Govt. of India rules)
- Qualified in any of the following National eligibility tests/ exams GATE CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
- National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc
Pay Scale for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
- Consolidated Salary per Month: INR 31,000/- + HRA as applicable when qualified in the National eligibility test listed below. INR 25,000/- + HRA as applicable without qualified National eligibility test
- Duration: Initially for one year. May be extended depending on the performance or ending of the project whichever is earlier
Age Limit for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
The upper age limit for this role is set at 28 years. Additionally, there is an age relaxation policy in place, wherein the upper age limit is relaxed by up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, women, and physically handicapped candidates.
Selection Procedure for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
