Applications are being accepted for the position of Project Assistant for the research project entitled "Food grain drying in Fluidized bed dryers: Hydrodynamics and Machine Learning based CFD," funded by JK Science Technology & Innovation Council, Department of Science and Technology (JKSTIC).
The project requires candidates with expertise in various fields including Food Technology, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Technology, Biochemical Engineering, and Environmental Science. The position is initially for one year, with the possibility of extension based on performance.
The consolidated salary for the position is ₹20,000 per month.Applicants must hold a B.Tech./B.E. degree in relevant disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks throughout, starting from Class XII, or a post-graduate degree (MSc) in basic science with 60% marks. A valid GATE/NET score is preferable for candidates with a B.Tech./B.E. degree. The upper age limit for applicants is 30 years, with relaxation for certain categories.

Qualifications Details for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
B.Tech./B.E. degree in Chemical Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Technology/Food Technology/ Biochemical Engineering and related streams with a minimum 60% mark (or 6.5/ 10.0 CGPA) throughout starting from Class XII, valid GATE/NET score is preferable. or Post-graduate degree (MSc) in basic science (Chemistry, Physics, etc.) with 60% marks.
Age Limit for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2024
