Indian Institute of Technology Indore (IIT Indore) is seeking applications for the role of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a variety of disciplines, including Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication, Instrumentation, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, Data Science, and Artificial Intelligence.
Candidates should be graduates (BE/BTech/BSc or equivalent) or hold an M.Tech/ME/MS degree in related areas, and must have qualified GATE or CSIR-UGC NET, or any national-level examination conducted by central government departments and their agencies. The position also encourages the successful applicant to join the PhD program at IIT Indore in July 2024.

Qualifications For IIT Indore Recruitment 2024
- Graduate (BE/BTech/BSc or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Instrumentation/Mathematics/Computer Science/Computer Engneering/Physics/DataScience/AI, or M.Tech/ME/MS in Electrical Engineering/Electronics and Communication/Computer Science and Engineering or related areas.
- GATE
- CSIR-UGC NET including lectureship (Assistant Professorship)
- National-level examination conducted by Central Govt. Departments and their agencies and
- Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER, etc
- The candidate is encouraged to join the PhD program at IIT Indore in July 2024.
Terms & Conditions For IIT Indore Recruitment 2024
- No TA/DA will be provided to the candidate for the interview.
- The PI shall not be responsible for email delay if any, or any other reason for nonreceipt of the document at the specified time and will result in disqualification/rejection of the application.
- The decision of the selection committee will be final.
- If the number of shortlisted candidates called for the interview is large, the selection committee may decide to restrict the number of candidates for the interview to a reasonable limit after considering qualifications and experience over and above the minimum prescribed in the advertisement.
- The appointment of the candidate will be governed by the terms and conditions of the Institute/ funding agency particularly applicable to the said project as and when required.
- The selected candidate will have to join duty immediately on receipt of the offer.
- The fellowship may be terminated with a 30-day notice before completion of the tenure if performance till date is not deemed satisfactory.
