The Department of Mechanical Engineering is seeking motivated candidates for the position of Junior Research Fellow (JRF) in a funded project titled "Investigation on acceleration of explosively driven preformed fragments inside explosion.
" Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or possess three years of research experience post ME/M.Tech, along with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal. Desirable qualifications include familiarity with optical techniques for fluid dynamic processes, high-speed imaging, image processing techniques (e.g., PIV/PTV, Shadowgraph, Schlieren, Holography), and instrumentation and controls.
The stipend for the position is Rs. 58,000 per month plus HRA, with the duration of the position being one year, extendible until the project's completion.
