An advertisement has been released for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a SERB sponsored research project focusing on the experimental study of rain microphysics and associated parameters in central India. The project entails both experimental observation and modelling of rain and cloud microphysics.
The ideal candidate should possess a background in Physics or Atmospheric Science. While enrollment in the PhD program at IIT Indore is encouraged, it's not mandatory. The position offers a stipend of ₹31,000 per month plus applicable HRA, contingent upon qualification in GATE/INSPIRE or NET-JRF exams. Candidates with these qualifications will be prioritised for selection.
The appointment is initially for six months, with the possibility of extension based on performance. Interested candidates are required to submit their CV to Dr. Saurabh Das via email, with only shortlisted candidates being invited for interviews. TA/DA will not be provided for the interview process.
