The Indian Institute of Technology, Indore, is seeking applications for a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) position in a research project funded by CSR HEFA. The project focuses on developing innovative surface treatment and graphene-based nanocoating/film strategies for preserving tangible cultural heritage in India.
Applicants must hold a BE/BTech degree in Mechanical/Production Engineering and an MTech/ME degree in Mechanical Engineering, Solid Mechanics, Applied Mechanics, Design, Nanotechnology, or Nanoscience, along with GATE qualification. Desirable qualities include experience in experimental works on nanocomposites and simulation works on graphene.
The monthly stipend is Rs. 37,000 with HRA as per rules, and the initial appointment is for one year, extendable for a further two years with encouragement for enrollment in the PhD program at IIT Indore.
