The Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad is seeking applications for a Post-Doctoral Fellow position in a sponsored project led by Dr. Chandra Prakash. The project focuses on real-time, in-situ, microscale experimental thermo-mechanical behavior characterization of composite materials under shock loading.
The selected Fellow will receive a monthly fellowship of Rs. 58,000 with no HRA provided. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, Production, Civil, Materials Engineering, or related fields. Desirable qualifications include expertise in experimental setup development, material characterization techniques (such as SEM, EBSD), mechanical testing, numerical simulation, and experience in laser-based experimental setup development.

- Expertise in novel experimental set-up development.
- Hands-on experience in material characterization techniques (SEM, EBSD, etc.).

- Experience in laser (pulse, CW) based experimental set-up development.

Selection Process for IIT Hyderabad Recruitment 2024
