IIT Guwahati is inviting applications for walk-in interviews for temporary contractual positions of System Engineers in their Research & Development Section. One position is available for System Engineer Grade I (Project Mode) with a salary range of Rs.31,000 to Rs.42,000 plus 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
Applicants must have a first-class B.E/B.Tech in CS/IT or MCA with a minimum of three years' experience in software development using Java (Spring framework) and knowledge of SQL, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, Unix OS, basic networking, and server administration.
Another position is available for System Engineer (Project Mode) with a salary range of Rs.28,500 to Rs.42,000 plus 18% HRA, requiring a similar educational background but with a minimum of two years' experience in software development using Java, HTML, PHP, JSP, JavaScript, SQL, MariaDB, basic networking, and Unix OS.
Interested candidates must apply through the provided Google form by April 16, 2024, with shortlisting based on qualifications and experience. Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for interviews, and the date and time will be communicated via email.

Qualifications Details for IIT Guwahati Recruitment 2024
System Engineer Grade I (Project Mode): B.E/ B. Tech passed with 1st class in CS/IT or MCA. Minimum three years’ experience in software development using Java (Spring framework), Knowledge of SQL, MariaDB, HTML, CSS, PHP, JSP, working experience in Unix OS, basic networking, basic Server Administration in similar organization such as IITs, NITs etc., is Mandatory.
System Engineer (Project Mode).: B.E/ B. Tech passed with 1st class in CS/IT or MCA. Minimum two years’ experience in software development using Java (Spring), HTML, PHP, JSP, JAVASCRIPT, SQL, Knowledge of MariaDB, basic networking is required, working experience in Unix OS. In hand experience of handling software/software development for premier educational Institute is preferred.

- IIT Guwahati is looking for a System Engineer (Project Mode) for their Research & Development Section on a temporary contract basis. The position available is for System Engineer Grade I (Project Mode), with one slot open. Salary ranges from Rs. 28,500 to Rs. 42,000 plus an additional 18% House Rent Allowance (HRA).
