Applications are being sought for the position of Senior Research Fellow (SRF) for a project titled "Probing quark gluon plasma by heavy quarks and quarkonia in heavy-ion collision" at the School of Physical Sciences, IIT Goa. Sponsored by the Government of India's Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Board of Research in Nuclear Sciences (BRNS), the project involves theoretical research in the field of Heavy-ion collisions and Quark-gluon plasma.

The position is temporary and will last for one year, aligned with the project's duration. Applicants must hold an M.Sc in Physics and possess a minimum of two years of research experience, with preference given to those with experience in heavy-ion collision.

The salary is Rs. 35,000 per month as per BRNS norms, along with House Rent Allowance and medical benefits according to institute norms. • Selected candidates will have to join in a reasonable time upon receipt of the offer.
