IIT Gandhinagar is offering a Postdoctoral Fellow position in interdisciplinary research covering Chemical Engineering, material science, and biotechnology. Salary for IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024

• For the IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024, the salary package includes a monthly remuneration of Rs 50,000 along with an additional Rs 10,000 as House Rent Allowance (HRA).

Job Description for IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024

• The above research topic is interdisciplinary, covering the broad spectrum of Chemical Engineering, material science and biotechnology.
• This work demands the selected candidate to work on synthesising advanced/nanomaterials, patterning of sensing electrodes (like screen printing), functionalization of aptamer/antibody on electrodes and electrochemical detection of biomolecules.
• The candidate will frequently use various analytical instruments (SEM, XRD, FTIR etc.,) to validate and characterise the electrode materials and various Electrochemical analysers for detection.
• Finally, he will demonstrate the performance of biosensors for various microbes, including bacteria.
• In addition to performing research responsibilities, the candidate will work on the development of laboratory setups.
