IIT Gandhinagar Recruitment 2024 Notification Out Project Scientist – I Vacancies, Check Eligibility at iitgn.ac.in

The Energy Systems Research Laboratory at IIT Gandhinagar is seeking a Project Scientist-I (DRDO) for a sponsored project focusing on the development of a compact, lightweight fuel cell-based power pack platform for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs). The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and building fuel cell systems and components, developing technical specifications and drawings, as well as designing and testing control algorithms.

They will collaborate with a diverse team to achieve project milestones. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with experience in fuel cell technology and balance of plant design being preferred. Strong teamwork and communication skills are essential.

The initial appointment is for one year with the possibility of extension based on performance, offering a remuneration of ₹ 56,000.00 per month plus 27% HRA.
